Estill Master Trainer

Holly is a certified Estill Master Trainer. The Estill model separates the voice into 13 structures, with specific exercises, or figures to train and isolate them. This gives singers and speakers the power to utilise different Voice Qualities and colours and to make specific choices about how they want to sound, and train in a vocally healthy and efficient manner. It has no aesthetic bias and can be used for all styles of singing and speaking. Find out more here.

Lessons and Coaching

I love helping people find their voice and work at whatever level works for them to achieve their vocal goals. I mostly work with new graduates starting out in the industry, performers preparing for auditions, as well as actors and dancers hoping to gain more singing skills, and those in training wanting extra vocal support.

Graduated from an MT degree? Keep up your skills with a package for monthly or fortnightly sessions to keep your repertoire folder fresh and be ready when the phone rings!

I teach from my garden studio in South Tottenham, London N15, easily accessible from Seven Sisters station, or online.

My regular teaching slots are Thursday, Friday and Sunday afternoons, with more flexiblity outside term time.

Packages of 4 and 8 lessons available as well as single sessions.

On booking you will receive a welcome email and questionnaire about your vocal history and goals, as well as detailed instructions on how to find the studio.

Testimonials

"I have gone to Holly over the years usually for audition prep or help with specific issues or placement. Her knowledge of the voice, Estill and especially her help with legit/soprano is amazing and I know I will always come out of a lesson feeling confident. I will absolutely be visiting Holly for more lessons especially after Covid to get back to performance level after a long break!”

Rebecca Ferrin

1st Cover Cosette, Les Miserables (UK tour)

"I love lessons with Holly - she is a wonderful teacher as she combines fun and technique perfectly. We work through lots of different rep and apply exercises from the vocal warm-up to the songs I’m learning - meaning I come away feeling so content and that I’ve really improved. I’ve been her student since my training at Mountview and couldn’t recommend her more."

Annabel Mackinlay

Morticia - The Addams Family (European Tour)

"Holly taught me throughout my time at drama school and she was consistently brilliant. I always loved Holly’s lessons and I left the course with so much more confidence in my singing voice. Her guidance and support is something I will always be grateful for. I’d definitely recommend Holly to anyone looking for a great teacher but also a lovely person too."
